Caroline Keresey Price ’89

Caroline and Will recently included Hotchkiss in their estate plans. Their bequest is in memory of Caroline’s father, Tom Keresey, Jr. ’49, and in celebration of their marriage, their many family members who attended Hotchkiss, and the long-lasting friendships they built on campus. While their bequest will support the School’s unrestricted endowment, they trust it will help provide future students the same life-changing opportunities they found at Hotchkiss.

Robert Chartener ’76, P’18’s decision to attend Hotchkiss was unconventional. After Robert experienced a rather lackluster initial visit, he was not entirely sure if he wanted to attend. Rusty Chandler ’53, P’82,’85,’87, GP’10,’14,’16,’22 personally reached out to him, which swayed him to enroll as a Lower Mid.

Frederick Frank ’50, P’12

Frederick “Fred” Frank ’50, P’12 remembers learning about Hotchkiss from an article on prestigious boarding schools in the July 1932 edition of Fortune magazine he found in his father’s basement archive. Fred’s father ran a menswear business and had long subscribed to Fortune to keep up-to-date on the latest fashions, newest innovations, and current events, nationally and abroad.
